Philippine Senator Says Arrest Is Imminent, Urges Public Not to Allow ICC Transfer

MANILA, May ⁠13 (Reuters) – ⁠Philippine Senator ⁠Ronald dela Rosa ​said on Wednesday ‌that he is ‌expecting ⁠to ⁠be arrested and urged people ​to come to the legislature ​and prevent him from ⁠being ⁠detained and ⁠sent to ​the International Criminal Court.

“I ​am ⁠appealing to you, I hope ⁠you can help me. Do not allow ⁠another Filipino to be brought to The Hague,” dela Rosa said in a video posted ⁠on Facebook.
