UN Appoints Ex-Haiti PM to Kenya Role as Security Force Restructures

PORT-AU-PRINCE, ⁠April ⁠1 (Reuters) – U.N. ⁠Secretary-General Antonio ​Guterres ‌has ‌appointed ⁠former Haitian ⁠Prime Minister Garry ​Conille ​as U.N. resident ⁠coordinator in ⁠Kenya, ⁠the U.N. ​said on ​Wednesday, ⁠adding ⁠Conille would take up his ⁠post that same day.
