Argentina’s Milei Will Send Electoral Reform to Congress

BUENOS ⁠AIRES, ⁠April 21 (Reuters) – ⁠Argentine President ​Javier ‌Milei said ‌on ⁠Tuesday he ⁠will send an electoral ​reform ​bill to Congress ⁠on Wednesday ⁠to ⁠eliminate mandatory ​primary elections.

The proposed ​reform ⁠would ⁠also overhaul campaign financing rules and ⁠prohibit individuals with criminal convictions from running for ⁠office.
