Debris Crashes in Several Parts of Kyiv From Russian Drone Attack; No Injuries Reported

March 16 (Reuters) – Debris crashed in central Kyiv and two other districts of the Ukrainian ‌capital on Monday from ‌a Russian drone attack, though there were no immediate reports of injuries, officials said.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said drone debris fell in the busy Shevchenkivskyi district in the city centre, the western Svyatoshynskyi district where it caused a grass fire in an open area, and in the neighbouring Solomianskyi district where it hit a non-residential area.

Multiple explosions were heard in the city. Kyiv’s military administration said earlier on Telegram that an air alert was declared in the city due to the threat of Russian drones.
