Explosions Heard During Bolivia March by Mining Groups Calling for Resignation of President Paz

LA PAZ, May ⁠14 (Reuters) – ⁠Explosions ⁠were heard in ​La ‌Paz on Thursday ‌during ⁠a ⁠march by mining groups ​who are calling ​for the resignation ⁠of President ⁠Rodrigo ⁠Paz.

The demonstrators, ​who a Reuters ​witness ⁠saw throwing what ⁠appeared to be dynamite sticks, clashed ⁠with police as they tried to enter Plaza Murillo, a ⁠main historic square.
