Germany to Provide Further $23.6 Million in Aid to Sudan This Year

BERLIN, April ⁠15 (Reuters) – ⁠Germany will ⁠provide an additional 20 ​million euros ($23.58 million) ‌to Sudan this ‌year, with ⁠further ⁠funding commitments currently under review, the ​development ministry in Berlin said in ​a statement on Wednesday.

At the ⁠end ⁠of 2025, ⁠the ministry ​had provided 155.4 million euros ​for ⁠projects in Sudan and in neighbouring countries affected ⁠by the war in Sudan, which it ⁠would expand this year by 20 million euros, it said ahead of an international aid conference on Sudan ⁠in the German capital later on Wednesday.
