Haiti, Dominican Republic to Reopen Airspace in May

April 17 (Reuters) – ⁠Haiti ⁠and ⁠the Dominican Republic ​agreed to ‌open the airspace ‌between ⁠the ⁠two countries starting in May, ​according to a ​statement on Friday, after ⁠flights ⁠had been ⁠suspended more ​than two years ​earlier.

“This ⁠measure aims to facilitate ⁠mobility, boost economic ties and strengthen ⁠relations between the two countries,” the countries said in a joint statement.
