Northern Ireland Police Investigate Car Explosion as Attempted Murder

BELFAST, April ⁠26 (Reuters) – ⁠An ⁠attempted murder investigation ​has ‌begun after a ‌car ⁠explosion ⁠on Saturday night outside ​a police station ​south of Belfast, ⁠Northern Ireland’s ⁠police ⁠service said ​on Sunday.

“We have ​commenced ⁠an attempted murder ⁠investigation which will be led by ⁠our Terrorism Investigation Unit,” the force said in a statement.
