Three Injured in Ukrainian Drone Attack in Russia’s Kursk Region, Governor Says

Moscow, April 11 (Reuters) – ⁠A ⁠Ukrainian drone ⁠hit a petrol ​station in the town ‌of Lgov in ‌Russia’s Kursk ⁠region ⁠injuring three people, including a child, ​the regional governor said on Saturday.

Alexander Khinshtein, ​the governor of the Kursk ⁠region ⁠wrote on ⁠state-backed messenger service ​MAX that the attack took place ​after ⁠4 p.m. (1300 GMT) during a declared Easter truce.

As both ⁠Ukraine and Russia celebrate Orthodox Easter this ⁠weekend, the countries have agreed on a 32-hour ceasefire to mark the holiday. Russia said the ceasefire would begin ⁠at 4 p.m. on Saturday and end at midnight on Sunday.
