US House Passes Temporary Funding Bill to End Homeland Security Shutdown

March ⁠27 (Reuters) – ⁠The U.S. ⁠House ​of Representatives ‌late ‌on ⁠Friday passed ⁠legislation providing funding ​for ​the Department ⁠of Homeland ⁠Security ⁠through May ​22.

It faces ​probable ⁠defeat ⁠in the Senate, however, where ⁠Democrats are expected to oppose it.
