Magnitude 6.1 Earthquake Strikes off Coast of Southern Italy, GFZ Says

June ⁠2 (Reuters) – ⁠A 6.1 ⁠magnitude earthquake ​struck ‌off the ‌coast ⁠of southern ⁠Italy in the ​early ​hours of Tuesday, ⁠the ⁠German ⁠Research Centre for ​Geosciences said.

The ​quake ⁠was ⁠registered at a depth of ⁠253 kilometers (157.21 miles), GFZ added.
