Trump Nominates Pimco Executive Erin Browne to Lead International Affairs at Treasury Department

April 13 (Reuters) – U.S. ⁠President ⁠Donald Trump ⁠has nominated senior Pimco ​executive Erin Browne as Treasury ‌under-secretary for international affairs, ‌according to ⁠a ⁠notification to the Senate on Monday.

Browne, who ​joined Pimco in 2018, is a managing director and ​portfolio manager at the firm, according ⁠its ⁠website.

Browne has earlier ⁠worked ​in macro investments at UBS O’Connor, ​and held ⁠roles at Point72, Citigroup, Moore Capital Management, Neuberger Berman, among other ⁠firms.

Her role at the Treasury Department is subject ⁠to confirmation by the Senate.

Pimco told Reuters in an emailed statement that Browne would remain “fully engaged and collaborating both with clients and colleagues until (the confirmation) ⁠process is complete.”
