Ukraine Strikes Industrial Targets in Volga River Towns, Samara Governor Says

MOSCOW, April ⁠18 (Reuters) – ⁠Ukrainian ⁠drones struck industrial ​targets overnight in ‌the Volga ‌river ⁠cities ⁠of Syzran and Novokuibyshevsk in ​Russia’s Samara region, local ​governor Vyacheslav Fedorischev ⁠said on ⁠Saturday, ⁠adding that ​the attack was continuing.

He ​did ⁠not name the facilities ⁠struck, but both cities host oil ⁠refineries that have been repeatedly struck in the course of the war in ⁠Ukraine.
