April 14 (Reuters) – The White House is considering selecting Erica Schwartz as the new leader of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday, citing three people who spoke on condition of anonymity about the planned selection.
Schwartz served as deputy U.S. surgeon general during President Donald Trump’s first term.
